On 26 April 2018, Lingotto and KBK bouwgroep acquired a 2.5 ha site at Het Spaarne in Haarlem. On the site, currently known as 'The New Energy', there are several monuments in various stages of decay and two modern commercial buildings that are rented to 25 different tenants. Within the current allocation plan, a total of approximately 30,000 m2 of creative business space and event space can be realized. dvdp creates the master plan and the visual-quality plan for this. Under the new title, Haarlemmer Stroom, a master plan and a visual-quality plan are made. As soon as possible afterwards, the historic buildings will be restored and the spatial boundaries for the new buildings will be defined.
